COLLIER "A SIGHT FROM HEAVEN"

Collana un po' lunga, costituita da catenella in rame intervallata da cristalli sfaccettati con pendente in pasta sintetica. L'immagine riprodotta e parzialmente dipinta con acrilici, è quella di un angelo tratta da uno dei mosaici disegnati da Edward Burne-Jones per la chiesa romana di S. Paolo dentro le Mura. La cornice riprende lo stile a metà tra medioevo e preraffaellismo dell' immagine, che è contornata da microsfere e cristalli swarovski, ed altri cristalli sfaccettati sono appesi come pendenti.

The pendant of this necklace is made of polymer clay, and it features a picture trasferred onto clay and partially hand painted with acrylics: it is one af the angels that Sir Edward Burne-Jones drew for the mosaics of a roman Church, St.Paul within the walls. The frame is an attempt to combine the medieval subject and its Pre-raphaelite interpretation. Faceted crystals form a sort of fringe below the pendant, and embellish the thin copper chain.
