PARURE "ASIAN DREAM"

Un lavoro dedicato ad un'amica che ama lo stile etnico, sia nell'abbigliamento che nei gioielli: collana ed orecchini sono composti da elementi in argento tibetano, metallo argentato, corniole, quarzo rutilato, agate, perle in legno, vetro, resina. Il pendente della collana è una giada orientale incisa.

 

A set of necklace and earrings designed specifically for a friend who loves ethnic style, both in clothing and in jewelry and accessories: I've used a carved jade pendant and set it with tibetan silver beads, metallic spacers, , cornaline, agate, wood , glass and resin  beads. The earrings have two lantern-shaped elements in silver plated copper.

 

 

PENDENTE "MELOGRANO"

Il melograno è un frutto naturalmente decorativo, carico di significati simbolici e di buon auspicio; forse per questo ha ispirato maestri delle gioielleria e artisti del bijoux. A  modo mio ne ho voluto trarre spunto per questo pendente, realizzato in pasta polimerica, con microsfere e perle di agata color rubino a simulare i chicchi. L'anello per inserire il laccio è in ottone inciso. Appena visto da un'amica , il pendente è subito volato via....

 

Pomegranates are really beautiful fruits, full of symbolic meanings , that's why many masters of jewelry and custom jewelry have been inspired by them. I've tried to create my version of this theme, by modeling this pendant of polymer clay; the grains are made with  ruby colored agate beads, and there is an engraved brass ring to hang the pendant to a string. 

 

 

 

PENDENTE "SINUOSA"

Non è un fiore specifico, assomiglia un po' ad un papavero, un po' ad un anemone....ho realizzato questo pendente ispirato allo stile liberty in filo argentato, martellato e saldato, con l'aggiunta di fiori e foglie in pasta polimerica, microsfere, una perla di fiume e agata tinta viola.

 

Here is a new pendant, in whose design I've been  inspired by the Art Nouveau style. The structure is silver plated wire, hammerd and soldered. I've added flowers and leaves made of polymer clay, microbeads, a freshwater pearl and dyed agate beads.

 

 

PARURE "NINFEE"

Appena terminato, ecco un nuovo lavoro su commissione: si tratta di una parure composta da orecchini e pendente-spilla, il cui tema ispiratore è il fiore di ninfea. Ho usato pasta polimerica incorniciata da filo argentato, ogni pezzo è arricchito da cabochon di pietra di luna, microsfere e cristalli Swarovski. Come pendenti ho scelto pietre ovali di cianite, il cui colore ben si accorda con i toni della composizione. Il disegno e lo stile d'insieme sono chiaramente ispirati all'Art Nouveau.

 

Here's a work  I've just finished: it's a set of earrings and matching pendant, that can also be worn as a pin. I've used silver plated wire for the frames filled with polymer clay; each piece features a waterlily flower and a moonstone cabochon. There are also microbeads accents and kyanite beads. The design of this set is clearly inspired by Art Nouveau.

 

 

COLLIER "PERVINCA"

Ancora wire, un lavoro iniziato tempo fa e terminato solo oggi, dopo aver trovato l'accordo di colori che mi convince. La struttura del centrale di questo collier è in rame martellato, su cui ho fissato piccole perle di ametista, foglioline in vetro e un'agata tinta pendente. E' un collier estremamente leggero e femminile, con qualcosa di liberty e celtico in chiave fantasy.

 

A new wire work necklace: the central element is made of hammered copper wire, that I embellished with amethyst beads, glass Leaves and a large dyed agate bead. The necklace is featherweight and feminine , due to its subtle chromatic agreement.

 

 

COLLIER "THE ENCHANTRESS"

Mi affascina sempre molto la mescolanza di materiali diversi, in questo caso ho mixato anche due stili che amo particolarmente, lo steampunk e l'Art Nouveau, ed ecco cosa ne è uscito fuori:

Il collier ha un pendente caratterizzato dall'immagine sotto vetro, tratta da Alphonse Mucha, ma reinterpretata in chiave steampunk. L'ho incorniciata con pasta polimerica, inglobando elementi metallici come la ghiera con le ore, filigrane, ingranaggi di orologio. Microsfere e cristalli completano la cornice, mentre la catenella di ottone è collegata con cristalli e perle in vetro boemo. E' un pezzo unico, per la sua particolarità non è replicabile.

 

I'm always fascinated by mixing media and styles: in this necklace I've joined together steampunk and art Nouveau style, as well as different materials: the focal point of rthis necklace  consists of a rectangular glass cabochon showcasing a picture of an Alphonse Mucha's maiden, in steampun style. The picture is faramed in polymer clay, and the setting includes metallic elements such as  watch parts and filigrees. I've chosen crystals and czech beads in matching colors to link the pendant to the brass chain.

 

 

COLLANE "TRINKETS"

La passione per i ciondoli, le minuterie, e delle insopprimibili attitudini da gazza producono alla lunga un accumulo di piccoli oggetti....nell'acquistare materiali per bijoux inserisco quasi sempre qualche charm particolare; ieri ho deciso di dare forma a qualche idea che mi frullava in testa, e sono nate queste collane da collezionista....ognuna è diversa, il tema comune è per tutte una chiave metallica, a cui ho appeso oggetti diversi: gabbiette, cammei, meccanismi di orologi, cristalli, charms con piccoli animali,  filigrane, campanelli....il risultato è un po' steampunk, un po' bohemian style, sicuramente spiritoso e fuori dagli schemi.

 

Like a magpie, I picked pendants, small found objects, trinkets and pendants for a long time, and here are three necklaces that I made from my collection: feature key to which is suspended a lot of little things: cameos, gears watches, crystals, pendants, bells, cages ...the result is somehow steampunk, with a little bohemian style, a spray of humour and they fit well with unconventional personalities.
